This year we're ordering costumes the first week of class (!) to ensure they get here in time for competitions/recital. Please click here to download the 2012-13 Costume Ordering Form. Please follow all instructions on the form carefully. If you have any questions, please contact the studio front desk during studio hours. If you need help with measuring, please bring your child to the desk either 15 minutes before class or after their class in the first week.
This year at AFDS, to keep the price of dancing more reasonable, we have contracted with a dance shoe manufacturer to provide you with the same great quality shoes, but at significantly reduced prices. This manufacturer is the same manufacturer of other high-quality, brand-name shoes on the market which are sold for significantly more. Our goal is to save you money while making sure the kids have the best shoes possible. In addition, this will allow AFDS to correctly size all children to minimize your shoe shopping time.
If your dance shoes fit from last year by all means, continue wearing these until you grow out of them; however, for the spring recital you'll need to get the correct ones for proper stage appearance.
We will be available for sizing:
August 13-31 Monday through Friday between 11:00a.m. and 7:00p.m.
September 4 through 14 Monday through Friday between 10:00a.m. and 6:00p.m.
September 15 between 10:00a.m. and 3:00p.m.
If you come in August, we will have your shoes ready for you on the first day of class. If you come in the first weeks of September, we should have your shoes for you within one week of ordering, or at the longest two weeks. If your shoes aren't ready for the first day of class, please have your dancer come to class in socks with convertible tights underneath.
