AFDS has 3 convenient payment plan options. Please select which plan fits your families' needs and we will detail out a payment schedule for you. We offer a discount when you take multiple classes and/or register multiple family members at our studio. AFDS prefers cash and checks for all payments, but also accepts Visa and MasterCard for your convenience. Checks should be made payable to A Fine Dance Studio. There is a $20 service charge for any returned checks. Please be sure to review the AFDS refund policy.
The tuition is set automatically to post monthly to your account so when you register online the balance you see will reflect the monthly tuition. Registration fees and costume fees will be added based on which class you've registered for.
Costume/Recital Fees: This year many families requested that the costume, performance tights, recital DVD and recital t-shirt all be charged upfront so they don't have to worry about ordering these later in the year. If your child is not performing in the year end recital you must notify Abigail by email before 12/1 for your fees to be eligable for refund. The only additional expenditure you will incure will be in the spring when you determine how many recital tickets you'd like to purchase.
OPTION 1 - Payment In Full: When paying in full for the year you will receive a 10% discount off all tuition. Registration fees and Costume/Recital fees will also be charged at this time. To receive this discount you must pay in full by 9/1/10.
OPTION 2 - Pay Half Now & Half 1/1 - When selecting this payment option, you will pay your first half payment at the time of registration and the 2nd half is due 1/1. You must have a credit card on file for this option. If your payment is not received by 1/5 you will be charged a $10/late fee per month on the 5th of each month ongoing. Costume fees will be split in half between the two payments. Registration fees are paid in the first payment.
OPTION 3 - 9 Monthly Installments - When selecting the monthly installment plan you MUST have a credit card on file. Credit cards will be charged at the close of business on the 1st of each month through May, if an alternative form of payment has not been received. Your first installment will be due at the time you register and this will include the registration fees, first tuition payment and first costume/recital fee deposit. Costume/Recital fees are spread out through the first three payments only and must be paid in full by 12/1 in order for a costume to be ordered for your child. Paying monthly carries a $2 premium fee per month per child. If your payment is received by cash or check before the 1st of the month we will waive the monthly premium fee. Please note that if your payment is not received by the 5th of each month and your credit card did not work, you will be assessed a $10 late fee AND your dancer will not be able to participate in class. Please do not put us in this uncomfortable situation. If we do not receive your payment, we will be sure to send you an emailed statement/invoice on the 2nd or 3rd of the month.
